US Transfer Required Documents:
- Transcripts
- We accept unofficial documents for admission purposes, however, you will need to provide final and official documents if admitted. Please upload a copy of your transcripts to your Applicant Portal. We will not process documents that are emailed to us by applicants.
- Please note: we do not accept screenshots of transcripts. Transcripts must include both the student's and institution's name
- Proof of English Proficiency
- Please visit our Proof of English Proficiency webpage for details on this requirement
- If you are not a citizen of an English-exempt country, we will review your US transcripts for English proficiency.
Please note: if you attended a non-US post-secondary institution prior to attending a US institution, we will need transcripts from that institution and a foreign credential evaluation report.
For documents that are not in English, we require both the original language and a certified English translation, completed by a certified English translator.
Additional documents may be required at WT's discretion.
Non-US Transfer Required Documents:
- Transcripts
- We accept unofficial documents for admission purposes, however you will need to provide final and official documents if admitted. Please upload a copy of your transcripts to your Applicant Portal. We will not process documents that are emailed to us.
- Foreign Credential Evaluation Report
- Please visit our Foreign Credential Evaluation Report webpage for details on this requirement
- Evaluation reports must be submitted directly by the agency. We do not accept unofficial evaluations submitted by students
- Proof of English Proficiency
- Please visit our Proof of English Proficiency webpage for details on this requirement
- This must be submitted directly by the testing agency or institution. If you have taken the IELTS or TOEFL tests, you can upload your unofficial scores to your Applicant Portal and we can verify them. All other scores or documents must be sent to internationaladmissions@wtamu.edu by the institution or testing agency directly.
- Course Descriptions
- For WT to be able to transfer credit from your foreign school to WT, we need course descriptions for each course that you have taken.
- Course descriptions are a description of what you learned in the course and/or a description of the course learning objectives
- Course descriptions must be issued by the university registrar or equivalent of Dean's Office
- Course descriptions are different from the foreign credential evaluation report. While the evaluation provides US equivalencies of credits and grades, the evaluation cannot match these courses to those taught at WT
For documents that are not in English, we require both the original language and a certified English translation, completed by a certified English translator.
Additional documents may be required at WT's discretion.
